Those who do are the ones who want to see something call, and imagine themselves being able to do the same thing. However there is the 2nd and deeper reason. The second reason why magic systems make a good fantasy book is because the magic systems are a physical manifestation of the conflict that the characters face, their personalization, their flaws and their characterization. The characters magic tells us something about their flaw, and their personality. A character who is avoidant, and tries not to deal with the trauma of their past may have a quick wit. On top of that, they may have fast speed or teleportation. That’s the flaw and personality. Then progression can be shown through the use of the magic, or the development of the magic. Maybe the story starts with them running away with their speed, but ends with them running towards their problem. Additionally, it could be that the power evolves, and they gain super strength with their speed, showing how they’ve overcome their trauma, and are ready to wrestle it face on. That’s why magic systems are important to a fantasy world. 3. Good Worldbuilding The third thing that makes a good fantasy story would have to be the worldbuilding. This one is also as important as the magic system. But unlike the magic system, this one serves mainly 3 purposes. The first is the characterization. How a world is built tells us a lot about the characters personality. For example, things like profession, living arrangements, or social status could tell us about the characters personality. A character who lives at the bottom house in the town, who works as a garbage boy, and who is in the working class is far more defined to us than a random character. There is a deserved prestige that a lot of authors receive in society, but not for the reasons none others imagine. Most non-writers assume writers must be smart. The link writing with a certain level of intelligence. After all, out of every 1000 writers, only 30 finish their book. This means 97 percent of amateur writers never finish their book. However, to say this is entirely due to intelligence deficit is not entirely true. What really allows writers to thrive is diligence and self-control. it is the ability to show up every single day to work on the same thing, for months. This is what makes a writer, and it is what it takes to write a book. So, can a normal person write a book? A normal person, none experienced person, and a non-writer can write a book. Anybody can write a book. The reason for this is that a book is just speech to words. If you have ever told a story about the time someone cut you off on the lane, or when you were school and you tried to ask a girl out, that is all that writing is. Put everything you said to words and you have a book. The only difference is that now you must tell an even longer story, and because you can actually see the words, you get the opportunity to choose the most impactful words, and not use the weakest ones. So, let’s get started What Makes You Truly Successful In Life? What makes you truly successful is fusing productive activities that draw you closer to your life goals with your everyday habits. This will mean that just by living your days as usual, you will always be walking closer to your goals. So basically, habits. Habits is what makes you truly successful in life. There are things that people find fulfilling. Yes, many people want money. Others want an attractive body. Others want to travel. Meanwhile, we even have people who want to meet a special someone, and just grow a small farm with them. However, what people want are experiences that they find fulfilling. The reason why they want the money, the body, and the travel is so they can get what they really want. Fulfillment. I am not about to conclude that you must ignore those “small things” and focus on the fulfillment. Instead, I am here to teach you the trick to getting those things. Habits. The first step is to discover what makes you fulfilled. People, solitude, experiences, etc. Just go online, or Instagram, and look at what you gravitate to. Travel stuff, family channels, or could it be that you only ever watch writing tutorials? The second step is breaking this down into actions. When you find what makes you fulfilled, you should find the career, or jobs that will allow you to live those lives. Then, do research on how to get those careers and jobs. Find What Fulfills You The first step to being truly successful is to discover what makes you feel fulfilled and content with your life, thus what you would like more of in your life. The first thing that you need to know before you can be successful is that you do not discover or stumble upon the perfect life. You create it. There are many proposed differences between talented, and untalented people. The biggest difference between talented people, and untalented people is that talented people are those who created their skills because of a factor in their early life. For example, you may meet a guy who is a great swimmer. He is the best in the whole class. But then it turns out that his parents worked at a gym. Also, ever day after school, he had to go to their gym and wait for them for hours. He spent this time in the pool. So, that’s why he is so good at swimming. Most of the time, you will discover that is how it is with most talented people. They have been doing the specific task since they were kids. DO you get it from a job? Or a student allowance? Or do you get it from your mother? You can streamline your thoughts by reducing energy you spend on your mental projection, and rearranging the attributes on your mental projection. This will allow you to use that energy on creating more combinations and formulas, so you have a higher quantity and quality of thoughts in a shorter time. For a more detailed break down, let’s get right into it. Why Do I Struggle To Organize My Thoughts? We often struggle to organize our thoughts because our mental projection and sorting of our thoughts is disrupted by some sort of distraction like a strong emotion. This makes it hard to maintain the mental projection and thus hard to sort and organize our thoughts. Psychologist Piaget has something known as Piaget’s theory of cognitive development. Here, he discuss how the mind of a human develops from infancy to adulthood. One of these stages is the concrete operational stage. Things such as the physical attributes of elements, their reversibility and the operating on the attributes. This development happens due to children learning to have a mental projection where they can store said attributes. “Thinking” is the process of rearranging these attributes to reach a certain conclusion. You can’t imagine how proud I feel about how smart I am sounding now. Anyway, let me give an example of what I mean by mental projection. When children count, they use their fingers. They also use their fingers to do calculations, so that they can see the attributes. So 3 fingers, and 2 fingers in another hand may be the observed attributes. The rearranging of these attributes could be taking away 2 from on hand, which leaves one finger up. So they know 3 minus 2 is 1. A mental projection is when you use your mind to imagine the 3, and the 2. Then, you rearrange these attributes mentally, and end up with 1. This is all without using your fingers. Explanation However, this is what makes thinking hard. When you are having a rough day, or some sort of emotional impulse such as fear, or excitement, your mind wants to daydream and think of those things. It does not want to mentally project boring things. This leads to you not being able to organize your thoughts. It’s even worse when the attributes you are trying to arrange are the direct cause of those emotional turmoil. For example, you may be thinking of speaking to a pretty girl. You end up complicating the exchange due to your own emotional impulse What Does Streamline My Thoughts Mean? To streamline your thoughts means to simplify your thoughts so that they become more efficient and profitable. Basically, the word streamline means removing resistance in a system, whether that is a water flow or organization, so that things can flow faster and more efficiently. The same then goes for streamlining your thoughts. You need to remove resistances so that you thoughts can be a bit more efficient. So streamlining your thoughts means removing resistances so that you can think more efficiently, you can calculate quicker, you can have clearer ideas, and you can improve your intelligent comprehension of topics. Secondly, it could be limited. It could be that the information you are getting is not enough, and you cannot get more information when you want. Imagine you are trying to figure out how to bake a cake, but the instructions you read from name tools that you do not have. How To Have An Insanely Productive Morning
Productive is a sort of buzz word in some spaces. In other spaces, it is like magic. I happen to be the genie that will lead you to the magic. I know just how to be productive in the morning. You need to make a plan the night before that will detail your morning, place away all distractions, and also sleep early then wake up and do something. These things will allow you to have an insanely productive morning because they break your sleep inertia, and will motivate you to work. That’s more vague than usual, so here is a more detailed break down of what exactly I mean. Why Can’t I Be Productive In The Morning? The reason you can not be productive in the morning is due to sleep inertia. Sleep inertia is when you still remain asleep even after you have already opened your eyes, and climbed out of bed. It is not normal for you to not be productive in the morning. In the old days, serfs used to wake up before the sun was even up and immediately get to work on the farms. In fact, even our science shows us that morning is the most ideal time for productivity The reason for this is that its in the morning when you have just woken up. Studies show that falling asleep increases your cortisol. This is known as Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR). “The cortisol awakening response (CAR) is the change in cortisol concentration that occurs in the first hour after waking from sleep. It is typically assessed using salivary cortisol samples immediately after waking and then at intervals over the next hour.” a.sTEPTOE, B. So then, why do most people feel tired, unmotivated, and lazy in the morning? They don’t. Sleep Inertia There is a phenomenon known as sleep inertia. It is defined as “a temporary disorientation and decline in performance and/or mood after awakening from sleep”. It is called sleep inertia, because it is similar to force inertia. In physics, there is the idea that force travels in a specific direction. When the car turns, your body continues in the original direction, making you lean over. This is force inertia. Sleep inertia is when you are sleeping, then you wake up. But, your body remains asleep, and shut down. So you continue feeling sleepy. Just like how force inertia eventually breaks, and you move properly again, sleep inertia can be broken. There are things you can do that lessen, and permanently remove sleep inertia, which I taught here. But for now, we will be dealing with how to make your mornings most productive. How Can I Be Super Productive In The Morning? Step #1: Plan The Night Before The first thing that you need to do to have a productive morning is to have specific plans the night before for the morning. The secret to a productive morning, is a pre-productive night. This is what most people do not understand. It is not uncommon to see people looking for specific habits that could assist them to be productive for the morning. However, this reveals a fundamental misunderstanding. It seems people believe when they do these habits in the morning, they will be productive. But it is actually reverse. It is because you are productive that you will do these habits in the morning. If you do not feel like being productive, then you won’t do any of these habits. So what can you do to make yourself feel like being productive? Plan the night before. Planning the night before allows 3 main benefits. Step #2: Journal Your Day In order to have a productive morning, you should start journaling your day at the end of the night. This can be 5 lines written on the text slots of your phone. Or you can get a proper journaling book, and write down what you learn. You could even do a hybrid by journaling what you learn on your laptop’s word document. It does not matter, just start writing. We have already spoken about the importance of planning the night before. The question becomes, what exactly do you plan? That’s what this step is for. Look back at your morning, and see just how productive it was. Then, write down what it was about the entire day that made it productive. Also, remember that there is no such thing as negative productivity. You are either productive with useful things, or you are productive with useless things. No one does nothing. So, it is either you were reading books, writing your books, working on your business plans, or training for the upcoming tournament that you have. Or, you were watching YouTube videos, watching movies, sleeping, eating, or indulging in sexual stuff. The point is, you were doing something. So write whatever it was that you were doing. Do not be lenient. If you know that there was a time when you could have been working on something productive, but instead you spent that time binging shorts, then write that down. You need to learn specifically what useless productivity you do. No not be overly critical. If you had an actual good reason for not working, write that down. maybe you were sick, or you had to go help a family member. By curbing your sleep inertia through ordaining a task to do in the morning, physically moving as soon as the alarm sounds, and falling asleep for as long as necessary, you can wake up early in the morning without feeling tired. It sounds fairly simple enough, but trust me. It is even simpler than that. Add in other productive techniques, and you are off. Once you master waking up early without feeling tired, you will be so confused by people who seem to be unable to do it. Why Is It So Hard To Wake Up Early? Sleep inertia is the main reason it is so hard for may people to wake up early. It keeps you drowsy, and sluggish if you manage to wake up, but it can put you back to sleep almost instantly if you remain in bed. Waking up early has a number of benefits. It gives you more hours in the day so that you can be more productive. Also, it has some more specific benefits for writers. For example, the quiet that is awarded in the morning can be a great time for writing. Even more, studies show that waking up an hour before your usual time decreases depression by almost half. However, waking up early in the morning is extremely hard to do for most people, because of sleep inertia. “Sleep inertia limits the level of human ability immediately after waking, lowering a person’s motivation and available time for productive morning behavior.” PubMed central, ‘Using wake-up tasks for morning bejavior change: development and usability study’ Sleep inertia is when your sleep moves on to you in your waking hours. The word sleep inertia is composed of sleep, which means sleeping obviously. But also inertia. Inertia refers to force that remains even after there has been a change in direction. For example, when driving down the road, then you turn suddenly. You body continues in the direction the car was travelling in with the same momentum, which is why it leans another way. That’s what sleep inertia is. Imagine putting sleep in place of momentum. So it is when you fall asleep then something wakes you up, and although you are awake, your mind is still awake. When you are having severe sleep inertia, its when you open your eyes after the alarm rings, then close them again, and when you open them again, an hour has passed. Lighter sleep inertia is when you manage to get out of bed, and walk around. but you are so drowsy and woozy, you might as well still be asleep. It is not tiredness. It is sleep inertia. You can read more about it in this study, but this entire blog will be using this studies’ principles to try and break sleep inertia. How Do I Force Myself To Wake Up Early? 1. The First Step To Wake up Is Sleep Properly If you want to wake up early, you need to sleep at a time that is going to give you the maximum amount of rest needed. The truth is that most of the things that we will discuss here will be useful for you if you intend on falling asleep at 3 am, and waking up at 5 am. You will need to give your self a proper amount of sleep, and rest. You will notice that I did not say you will need to sleep early. The thing is, if you oversleep, you are doing as much damage as under sleeping. Instead, you need to find a time that will allow you to sleep for at least 6 hours. This will be somewhere between 9 and 11 pm. To wake up early, make yourself fall asleep at these times. You can use ASMR to help you fall asleep faster, or you can just get in bed, and use whatever routine you know that has allowed you to fall asleep quickly If you do not have such a routine, then you can stick around, and I will show you a few tricks 2. Try The Mummy sleeping trick to wake up early If you want to wake up early, you could help yourself fall asleep by pretending to be a mummy. I know what it sounds like, but trust me, this works wonders. What you need to do is climb into your bed, and sleep in a position that you feel comfortable laying in until morning. The trick here is that you want to make sure that your limbs are not laying on top of each other, but you are also not using any of your muscles to hold up your body parts. So sleeping with your knee in the air is out of question because you had to hold it up with your thighs. Basically, just deactivate your entire muscles structure. You can do this by thinking consciously of each muscle group as you lay. First your legs, then your torso, then your arms, and finally your neck. Check to see tension, and release. I say this is like being a mummy because, I cannot do this. You see, I always sleep on my side, and so my arms are crushed, while I have to hold up my body. The only way that I can balance myself is with my blankets. By pulling them, and sleeping on them, make the blankets pull me up. In this way, I can completely relax my body. Do this relaxing technique for as long as you can, and you will soon find yourself drifting off. 3. Deductive thinking is one of the greatest super powers. With proper deductive skills, you can learn so much about things that people would not expect you to know. You can then use this knowledge to improve your life, and make specific improvements that are efficient. So, how can you do this secret technique. To be a deductive thinker, first you must improve your knowledge acquisition skills, and general knowledge. Then you must improve your ability to separate your own biases and notice other people’s biases. Finally, you must improve your ability to see connections and themes between the most obscure facts then pin them to the biases you see in the peoples, thus allowing you to uncover something hidden. These are the basic tenants of deductive thinking. But for more specific information, there is more information right here. What Is A Deductive Person? A deductive person is a person who proficiently and habitually uses general knowledge, and information to discover and piece together specific information that would have been hard to discover by most. The best example of a deductive person would be Sherlock Holmes. Let’s say there is a murder scene with pink chalk marks on the wall. While most people would imagine its a murder scene, Sherlock Holmes figures out it is actually a botched crime scene. Firstly, he knows that fire mixed with specific chemicals leaves a pink mark that looks like chalk marks (general knowledge). He knows that this chemical is often used to make boxes that store diamond. Also he knows that the metal working smith is fond of using fire. So he figures that the smith was trying to steal the diamond by burning the box (specific information that would have been hard to discover for the other detectives). This skill in tendem with other life development skills, will allow you to get a grip of your life. Why must everyday people develop their deductive skills? Look at it like this. If Sherlock had been the one planning to steal the diamond, do you think he would have been caught? Exactly. “Deductive reasons is a sequential thinking process driven by reasoners’ meta-deductive knowledge and goals that requires the construction and manipulation of representations.” National library of medicine study In simple words, deductive reasoning is a process driven by general knowledge, and specific goals which requires creation of general truths. Using these truths to make productive plans to reach these goals. However, can this skill be developed? Can you train to become more like Sherlocks? Yes you can. The study I am quoting was conducted by University in Spain, and published in the National Library of Medicine. They found means of increasing student’s deductive skills, also a “metacognitive training procedure on executive functions to improve deductive reasoning.” Through the use of cognitive deductive principles such as consistency, and necessity. Along with using deductive strategies such as exhaustivity and counterexamples, you can have a better way of using working memory (general knowledge) to achieve your desired specific goals. How To Improve Deductive Thinking Skills? 1. Define the situation The first step is trying to list out as much general knowledge that you know from the top of your head about the situation. In simpler words, you just need to define the situation. Define the situation as you understand it so that you can gain access to all the general knowledge you know about the situation. If you want a formula for how to define a situation, first write down exactly what is happening. You can do this by first writing an actor. This can be a person, organization or general concept like time. Then you write down the negative consequences that is caused by this actor agent. These are easy to imagine. A simple tip to help you with this is that you need to imagine a subject that is being acted upon by the actor. This can be a person, organization, or general concept too. Finally, list everything that you know about these problems. Examples Finally, to the examples. Let’s say the situations you are dealing with are financial issues, or your bother is being kicked out of class. “My expenses (actor that is a general concepts) are depleting too much of my money (subject).” (a more politically correct way of saying ‘I am almost as poor as the writer of this article’). Or, “The school (actor) kicked my brother (subject) out.” Finally, list out everything you know about the defined situation. What do you know about making money, and being financially stable? You need to make more money than you spend. To make money, you need to create a product that people will pay for. For your brother, you could say schools kick out kids for misbehaving. Your brother has been kicked out of earlier schools before. You brother is often causing trouble at home. Try to list out at least 10 general things that you know about these defined problems. 2. Start to find consistency The second step is to try and see the common themes amongst these general informational pieces that you have managed to bring up and define. In qualitative research methods, this stage is called discourse analysis. You basically analyze the information that you have managed to gather. Techniques used to discover these are techniques such as coding. Coding is taking placing a word to describe elements in a piece of writing. You do this in two ways. First, you pay attention to the most requiring words, and you write those down. For example, two people may be explaining their experiences on the new ride in the park. One keeps using the word out of control, while the other keeps using the word scary. The words that people use tell us more about what they feel, and who they are. How To Get Yourself Out Of A Rut
Everyone falls into a rut at one point or another. We fall into repetitive, and unproductive actions, leading to us hating how well we wasted the day. yet we know the following day will be the same story. Luckily for you, I’ve been in these so many times, I’ve even come up with a way to help break me out. You can get out of a rut by first making plans that are easier that are easier to achieve, which will increase your dopamine, and then by making it harder for you to procrastinate using things like appblocks, and physical movements limiters. A rut is a habit or a pattern of behavior that has either boring, unmotivated or unproductive, but either or, the person finds it very hard to break this pattern. Most of the time we spend in our lives, we are trying to achieve something. It can be financial, social, or just physical fulfillment. Even watching movies is a form of fulfillment. However, sometimes you will find that nothing you do satisfies you. Sometimes, you will find that you are repeating a series of behaviors. No matter how much we do not want to do it. No matter how important it is that we stop doing these things. We can’t help but do the same things that we were doing anyway. That is when you are in a rut. Productivity Rut It can be a productivity rut. This is when we suddenly stop being as productive as we used to be. Instead, we waste our time doing things that we know are not that important, just so we can avoid doing what we used to do. Unmotivated Rut Failing that, it could be a motivation rut. A motivation rut is when we stop even feeling the guilt when we do not do what we must. Now we are only left with a phantom thought that we should be doing something productive. Emotional Rut Finally, it can be an emotional rut. This is when the emotions of life just push ups down. it can be events happening in your life, or familial issues. The unifying thing is that your emotions start feeling so strong that they tie you down. No matter what you do, you cannot get yourself to do anything because of how you feel. For example, sometimes people watch political news about their country, and then spend the day being too triggered to be able to work anymore. Most are more serious than this, featuring things like infidelity, grief, guilt, etc. But I wanted to give a lighter example. All these things have the same thing in common. They take whatever productive groove you have been on, and they grind it to a halt. So, how do you start again? How Do I Get Out Of A Rut And Be Productive? 1. Recognize The Story 1.1. The first step to making it out of rut is to know the Story You Get A New Goal It always starts with a new discovery. Maybe a YouTube video, a great course, or maybe even finally discovering a part within yourself that has a potential for the particular subject. How to make money online. You were just given a surprise assignment to do. Otherwise, it was not because you are lazy. In fact, the next week arrives, and you manage to actually start. But then you miss the other week too. For family. You miss another week, for another good reason. Next thing you know, you have missed a month. Then six. And soon, years pass by. Someone asks you about the topic, and you remember how at some point in your past, you intended on doing the thing that could improve. For this part, it is good that you had inspiration. It is good that you had a vision, so that’s not what to cut. Instead… 1.2. The second step of breaking out a rut is to know how the Cycle Starts You set the goal high. The goal that people set in their excited or inspired state is usually too high. It is a goal that usually expects great returns. There are 2 types of great returns. First, it is the great gain. Whether it is a lot of money, or a chiseled body at 110 kg, they are both the same. They are extreme success. The second type of great returns is an unprecedentedly quick time frame. People can expect to receive their returns in a matter of months, weeks, and sometimes days. In order to achieve these great returns, there must be a great sacrifice made. They must do exuberant amount of work in a short time, spend their entire waking hours at work, and sometimes, they must even sacrifice holidays in order to be able to attain this unrealistic standard they have set for
